One Happy, One an Excuse

A clown in red pants
Dances with a short giraffe
In the new freak show

When my back hurts me
And my wife is throwing up
I only write two

I had a psychoanalyst give me an evaluation of this haiku. The clown is a symbol of a happy childhood, but the red indicates that you were beat up by your big brother. The short giraffe shows that you have not yet reached your full potential, but since it is dancing one can assume that you are happily progressing along your way to your full potential. The sore back is metaphorical and represents the heavy burden you bear as husband and father. Your wife throwing up is not a metaphor, she just saw you naked.
